I finally went when the coffin starting to lower. And then again with the King during the national anthem.

Those pallbearers were so young and did so amazingly well. I said to my mum earlier that I was also so impressed with George and Charlotte, they behaved so well.

I really hope all the royals are having a stiff drink and a bite to eat now.

Oh gosh, Kirsty did fabulously well there to hold that together to the end, you could see the tears swimming in her eyes from the Elizabeth I quote.

I just saw at the bottom of the bbc news that the King is hosting a reception for world leaders now !

Such a long day to keep a public face on. I hope George and Charlotte are able to go ‘off duty’ now.

I thought the Dean of Windsor sounded very sad.

I thought that too, Marth. I bet they're all starving and I wonder if there were snacks in the cars down to Windsor they could discretely have.

I didn't watch the state service but the one at Windsor was lovely. The coffin being lowered and the lone Piper set me off again.

I have to catch up with the Windsor bits as Rosco made an enormous fuss about wanting a walk. No respect.

It was magnificent. From start to finish. I have the utmost respect for the royal family now.

The corgis broke me; I’d been mostly ok up til then…
