Fiji must win. It’s their national sport!

I'll be gutted for Fiji if they lose (while being happy for France).

Well done to France. We just stopped everything to watch. Squeak is very impressed with DuPont.

I like the French player with the emotive eyebrows (Rebbadj)

Look at those caterpillars!

I’m not sure if he is French but he is the best I could manage.

I really enjoyed the rugby 7s and the cycling road races, and I'm watching the swimming now.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Our poor chap in the men's time trial bike road race got a puncture and ended up fourth. He caught up so much time he would totally have got gold. He's only young though so plenty of time.

A silver and bronze on the first day, come on the Brits! :bel:

That was the most stressful tennis match that I have ever watched.

How did they manage that, facing five match points! Well done, Murray and Evans.

So close to another gold. I feel sad for him, which is bizarre as getting silver is great, but I hope he's OK.

What are they giving them? It looks like a roll of wrapping paper.
