Quarter final stage. Wales v Argentina is tight. And S is so stressed about Ireland v All Blacks this evening!

What a shame Ireland and NZ met at this stage. That was a great match, and I'm gutted one of them had to go out.

I am by no means an expert when it comes to rugby, but that was a hell of a matchup.

How long did Ireland keep that last ball alive?! It could so easily have been a fairy-tale win. Alas ...

Right? We'll go out in the semi final and that makes us sound MUCH better than we are.

Re: Rugby World Cup
I thought England were in almost total control aside from the ten minutes when Fiji got those back to back tries.
Was a good performance.

Mr5 went to the grocery store near the end of the game as he couldn't stand the stress. I watched them win and didn't have to stand in a queue, double win for me :))

I missed the England game though I did manage to see the last six minutes on the +1 channel, but I'll watch France this evening.

That is like Squeak’s match earlier. We eventually won 12-7 and no points scored in the second half at all.

Why do I hate Faf de Klerk so much? No idea, but I want France to do it.
Ah well, good win, South Africa.

Oof, that was a great game but I wish it had been the other way.
