Re: Professional cycling 2020
Why would you do that?! Both idiots.
If it's one person for each team then that seems more worrying about potential spread.

It does seem idiotic.
Yes, 4 teams have one positive each. Hard to imagine that at least one of those teams won't get subsequent positives.

Yes I'd be surprised if that's the end of it.

Oh bless - that interview! That reporter practically forced him to cry and then he wouldn’t stop
Too many crashes in that stage though!

Re: Professional cycling 2020
Yes it was very satisfying.
I'm quite outraged by Sagan's behaviour yesterday. It was really blatant and I think they should take a no tolerance approach and turf him out of the race entirely. I mean, I do like him but it's pretty unacceptable to shove someone like that.

It was way more blatant and obvious than when he actually DID get thrown out of the race when he did for Cav. I think he's a shade of himself and over compensating.

Re: Professional cycling 2020
That's probably true. I found his interview really disingenuous as well 'when Cav did this it was my fault, when I do this it's my fault' ignoring the fact that the issue is that he broke his line to barge someone both times.

Re: Professional cycling 2020
Watching this afternoon I was struck by how many riders threw bottles to the side of the road - I know fans pick most of them up but it seemed awful to drop so much litter. So I had a quick google and apparently the teams/riders can get penalised for littering outside the designated areas.
Here’s all the penalties handed out so far: https://www.cyclingweekly.com/news/raci ... 020-465227

I love a proper summit finish. A pretty great stage. Roglic is looking more and more certain for the win.

It’s a great shame for Bardet to have to withdraw; I hope he doesn’t have any lasting effects.

It's exciting to know with almost certainty there won't be an Ineos winner after so much dominance by Sky/Ineos. Bernal really imploded. It's rest day test day again

Yes, I feel sorry for him but it's opened it up nicely.
Got very excited for Adam there for a minute when he attacked.

I heard he's back too, why doesn't he need to do 14 days isolation?!

Re: Professional cycling 2020
I also wondered. Maybe different rules in France? Or I also have a value memory that it might be 14 days isolation if you have symptoms but aren't tested, but only seven days from a positive test?

You timed your baby very well for this year's cycling Beatrix. ;) I have such lovely memories of last year when we got home and had the last week or so of the Vuelta.
