What's in a name?

I think I've mentioned before that my friend and her wife both have the same name :crazy:. One of them has adopted a slightly different spelling of the shortened version and the other now uses her full name. It must still be so confusing though!

Mr.Vig has a name that people frequently think is awful (Ke.ith), but I am immune now, it's just his name. He doesn't like anyone saying his name as he feels like he's getting into trouble, so I usually don't bother. His brother has the same name as Claude's BIL.

I don't mind Malcolm at all, but I've never known one except someone I fancied in Home & Away/Neighbours so that has been my only influence. I always find it funny when it comes up here.

Lily, think Shoe for his last name But don't post it, between that and col.ly.w.obbles he'd definitely know it was him if the cruel google gods managed to bring him here one day

I dated 3 terribly named men in a row (Bryson, Giles and Damian) and after the last one decided my next conquest must have a normal name. Thankfully Mr D has the most normal of names. It's probably why I decided he'd do!

They both used to use one n, now one uses two and one uses the full name.

(ETA: also they are in the USA where unusual spellings are more common in general. Their son is called J.a.xon :woteva: ).

I work with a Jenn, which I like, it strikes me a bit like Anne with an e, just a bit nicer.

I think it's a bit harsh not to date someone because of their name, it wasn't their choice after all.

My ex's name was generally considered bad (ni.ge.l) but it didn't bother me. He went by the shortening of it. He also had a ridiculous last name (fine, just long and completed). Now Mr J has a super common first name and a differently unusual last name.

I don't think a name would put me off as demonstrated above.
