They were no longer together by the time he was born so his ex chose the name herself.

I always imagine Adrians to be a spectacled, academic type, probably with leather elbow patches. I think Russells are a bit hoo-ha (which mine certainly isn't) which is why I am not keen.

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity, Jupiter. I thought maybe he was known for bad name choices or something. ;)

I had a massive crush on a Russell as a teen. Both of us were too shy to act on it and then it turned out he was gay.

I know two dogs called Barry. The owners do not know each other, and both dogs are cavalier crosses. :uselesstrivia:

My friend's husband is an Adrian. I was trying to get her together with another friend so I pointed out Adrian is an anagram for "A drain" but she married him and told him so now he always signs off my birthday cards "Love, The Drain".

Rosy, you're kind of right, but I would rather find reasons why I could never get together with this man rather than face the fact he is soooo out of my league. His surname is good too. :lg:

Bollocks is he out of your league - stop putting yourself down. You are a beautiful woman with a loving and generous heart. Unless he is Alexander Skaaaaaarsgard (other lickable men are available), he is totally in your league.

I never have any idea who this Alexander guy is. I will need to google him.

I am sure I am all of the above :flirt: (thanks!) but I have no breeding nor class and I've been reading Austen!

ETA Hmm I have googled. He's leaving me cold. Plus he went out with Alexa Chung. I don't like her.
