Ken!

I used to do the boob squeeze to see which one felt fuller! I did eventually give up caring once things were a lot more established and I'm sure I ended up using one side a lot more than the other, but that was much further down the line.

It’s so easy to do Ken . The NCT mum who had twins in my group did so, several times.

I always had lopsided boobs when it came to feeding, as A2 preferred one side to the other (still does, and will feed from my left side out of comfort).

A2 has been sleeping for longer without feeds recently, so I’m hoping this is the start of better sleep and not just response to a growth spurt or teething (he took a mega 3.5 hour straight nap at nursery today, so I’ve possibly jinxed myself even thinking about it).

3.5 hour nap :love2:

I have a feeding app that I am absolutely wedded to - apart from the first few feeds I’ve used it for every single one and always check it before I feed her :twitch: including last night, so although it wasn’t an issue it does tell me how tired I was that I still made the ‘mistake’.

We are doing well I think, but I’m probably suffering a bit now from the 13 weeks as solo food source, and I’m finding some anxieties creeping in that I need to keep a lid on. Also, I know this is an odd ‘problem’ but although I am obviously very happy with Hop’s weight gain, the physical reality of it is quite hard day to day (and night to night). I visited a friend today who happily toted her (healthy and good sized) 5 month old around with just one arm hooked around her, while I have to heave Hop around with all my strength, and ache all over all the time (I know this is to do with any sleep deficits too, but my back sings a very specific song these days). It just makes me a bit jealous(??) in a way and sorry for Hop as she can’t just be wheeched about in the same way another 3 month old would be, and I know it’s no harm to her or me but in the spirit of honesty I’ll admit it still gives me a bit of a pang.

 Aching all over is horrible so I'm not surprised you feel like that.

13 weeks of breastfeeding is brilliant though, although I imagine the relentlessness is really difficult too.

I also have an app, and have discovered that me struggling with left and right can also be an issue. ;)

I had a question earlier which I've forgotten now. :verm:

I don’t know what app you are using but Sprout is a really good app, you can track loads of things on there. I used it for Tupac for feeds and dirty nappies and to time his naps when he was older and it was really useful.

You can have more than one profile/baby on it and switch between profiles so you could track each of them separately.

Massive congratulations! I was thinking it was your due date today or tomorrow and was debating whether bumping the pregnancy thread would be super annoying. ;)

Pictures ASAP please!

How are you doing?

Thank you everyone. We're still in our room on the labour ward. Just waiting to see if I need an anti d injection, then we can go home.

I'll pop a photo in members.
