Re: Juvenile Jibber Jabber
J announced my hairy legs to the family chat today. I wouldn't mind but I'd actually bothered myself to shave them And poor thoughtful HoneyZoomer wrote: ↑Sun Mar 29, 2020 6:55 pm This morning, as I was lounging around in my dressing gown :
A, in an appalled voice, "Mammy, your legs are all dirty!"
"That's not dirt, darling, that's hair."
"But what's it doing there???"
Nothing like a four-year-old to let you know you've let yourself go.

A!
We were coming home from our walk the other day and I said that there was hopefully some moisturiser for A coming in the shopping delivery. He said “oh good, I’ll look like Brad Pitt by next week then” and Pete absently said “You mean Brad Pig, Daddy. HA HA HA”. I am very proud.

She’s very funny. There’s a song that goes “my mummy is the best, the best there ever was” and she was singing it the other day and I went all gooey until I heard she was actually singing “my mummy is a hag, the bestest ever hag!”

We sing that too. E went through a Coco Melon addiction but is in recovery at the moment.

We are still in the grip of addiction here, Jupes. Well done on remaining clean in your house.

Cocomelon :( I cant remember the last time I had something that wasn’t shit cartoons on YouTube in my tv during the day.
Tupac sings the Johnny Johnny song relentlessly but changes the names for all of our family members/food that you are being accused of eating and also expects you to respond and open your mouth when it’s your turn. It used to be cute

Oh my GOD. Here too. We pandered for a while and then I broke and instituted a no “HA HA HA”ing with your mouth open rule at the table.

God, I hate the Johnny song so much. The thieving, lying little git.

My husband only has about three habits that annoy the hell out of me but one of them is whistling those inane tunes from kids' youtube programmes, as if it's not bad enough listening to them on the TV all day!!

Those songs do my brain in. I think we may be out of that phase with E and H has yet to discover them. Hopefully never will.

Poor T is really struggling with quarantine. He told me he’s not sure how much longer he’ll be able to cope with sourdough bread. He has now learnt the phrase first world problem.

Lovely T!
Today I heard G winding the dog up, long story short I really need them to stop doing this and had asked 826383 times already. The dog has a buffalo horn chew. So when G heard me stomping in to tell him off, he said “mummy I was just giving him the horn, I gave him the horn!”

I made the mistake of using CocoMelon once in an English class with the little girl I used to tutor. It is so shit. She loved it of course, and every time I thought there'd be a new song, it was the same terrible no-tune with slightly different words
