George was miffed that there was no chocolate in the Tony's calendar today. He thought it was a mistake or it had fallen down but on there's an explanation for each day and it's a 15% off code for their web shop.
That's not cool.

I got a By Terry lip balm today, I don't think it's full size but it's a decent sample size.

That's really mean!

From the No7 calendar in the past few days I've had serums, daily moisturizer, body milk and a lovely lip pencil.

I am loving my jam calendar but I'm sure the novelty factor is playing a big part in it, and I doubt I'd do it again (not least because if all the jars!).

I was miffed by my liberty one today as it was a voucher, so I'm with George. :dotty:

Eta. How lovely, Sal - lip balms are perfect for this time if year.

If I buy a bloody chocolate advent calendar I fully expect there to be chocolate behind every door! That’s a real cheek!

Oh my word, what’s with all the discount vouchers?? That’s just companies giving themselves a gift! Outrageous.

A good voucher, or something like e.g. a hand massage at Liberty?

It's £15 off at liberty, so absolutely fine. I'm not good with delayed gratification! :))

Oh good, something you can use at least. I know what you mean though!

Squeak was outraged. OUTRAGED. I’ve told her to channel it toward injustice in the world as a whole while she ranted.

It was a bloody expensive calendar, and while I get the point, it is a bit mean.

I’d be bloody furious to have a day of no chocolate in a chocolate advent calendar.

Today’s jam is seedless raspberry, which I will put on my toast after Popmaster.

Yesterday on M&S was a Percy and Reed hair primer treatment, and today was a very decent sized tub of Pure Day cream.

I always seem to get Percy and Reed stuff in calendars and Beauty boxes - I’m sure other people must rate it, but it doesn’t seem to suit my hair type much.

I’m looking forward to trying out the face cream, and wondering what exactly a hair primer does? If it can tame my wayward hair even slightly it could be a winner! :))

I still have the box from my M&S calendar (shhh! It's pretty!), and just looked back at the contents list - it was really good, actually worth the money just for one of the full size products which is fortunately brilliant for my hair and I'd have never tried thinking it's too expensive, when it lasts for ages. And no stickers or dust bags!!

I’ve got loads of Percy & Reed stuff too. I need to have a break from the M&S calendars next year :))

Pip, you should tweet your children’s disappointment to Tony’s. That is not on!

Two things this morning - Emma Hardie moringa balm, and a brightening mask by Aurelia (I've never used that brand but have heard of it). Both sample size but decent sizes.

Fig and cardamom jam today. Not my favourite but still quite nice.

Today’s M & S is a REN Atlantic kelp and magnesium anti-fatigue body wash mini.

Fig and cardamom is literally the only jam that's made me feel a pang of jealousy about not getting the Bonne Maman calendar!

I also LOVE that REN body wash. I think it smells great and the whole family can use it as it's properly unisex. I love the body wash but also get the hand wash and bath oil. Huge fan here.

I'm sire you'll all be relieved to know that Tony's semi redeemed themselves with two chocolates today.

You couldn’t really taste the cardamom.

Squeak had just opened door no. 9 too. I had wondered if you might get two today.

That Tony's calendar is a rollercoaster.
