These are great.

I know a male Nicola. He looks like Brandon Flowers but sexier.

Oh my, Pip!

Nicola is quite a common male name in Italy, I think?

I'm watching Once Upon A Time with Betty and one of the producers has the last name Wankum. I can't imagine going through secondary school with that name.

Is that an American programme? I don't think Americans had wanker in their vocabulary generally.

A Greek person I knew screwed their face up when they heard someone we knew had called their child Malachi.

No definitely. Simply having the surname Kerr meant one lad at school was called Wayne by all the lads. They used to shout WAYNE out when the teacher called out Kerr for registration.

His first name was Andy. :mog: However, he is a wanker.

When I worked for a lettings agent we had a tenant called Wayne Kerr. And a landlord with the surname Kuntz.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Back in Brussels, my rugby team had a guy from Berlin playing for the men’s team who had a pretty easy life until he went to a boarding school in England for his A levels.

His name was R.ichard W.anke.

Noo :(

We had a customer called Mr Kastrati, which I now know is a normal sort of name in south eastern Europe, but seems very unfortunate in any countries with romantic languages.

Her children are Eva-Danielle and Tommy-Daniel.
