I don’t think she works. Her daughter who’s about 9/10 does the same. They do it several times a day. Normally I work mornings and see her but I’m on an afternoon shift and she still wasn’t dressed at 2.30.

IWLTS I am working my socks to learn new aspects and I may ask some questions or think out loud when discussing things or ask for help or ask you to repeat something.
So please don't use that tone, I can literally hear you sigh. I am doing my best here and it's making me feel rubbish. Also please don't eat while on calls.

I'm surprised shops let you in in your nightwear. Bleurgh. I can honestly say I've been lower than low, but never to the point of walking outside in my jimjams.

There are a few women who come to our supermarket wearing dressing gowns, but it looks to me like cultural differences and they don't realise somehow that they're nightwear, as they don't seem to be wearing nightwear underneath.

In some communities / social circles it's totally acceptable - I remember the kids I used to work with talking about getting changed into their day jammies.

The traveller mums at school all do it. They don't tend to get out their cars mind you, pull up on the zig zags. Its a battle of wills between them and the head (theyre winning)

It's French travellers in my supermarket too, but I don't know if that's the same cultural group as English travellers. The women always wear above-knee skirts and bare legs, although they're not round here in proper winter, I still feel vicariously cold for them quite often The dressing gowns don't seem to be deployed as big cardigan / coat replacements either though.

I have day pyjamas right now. I refuse to wear anything more restrictive while I'm a hermit. I do not go to the shops though

Round here they're Rom, I believe. The only "travellers" I ever saw in the UK were more like Swampy than being from an actual cultural background of travellers, so I don't know who they are more usually.
