Mr C’s ex has just rung Mr C to ask where Youngest is as he is meant to have a dentist appointment at 0930 but hasn’t turned up (he’s still in bed). Mr C didn’t know about the appointment otherwise he would have woken Youngest up in time. This sent his ex off on a rant about how exhausted she is from having to deal with Youngest. Except he has spent about 4 nights in the last month at hers and the rest of the time at ours where we’ve been dealing with all his antics including yesterday having to shampoo the whole stair carpet because he’d spilt coffee on every step and hadn’t cleaned it off, hosting his friend for a sleepover, taking him to his job because the bus doesn’t run that early, dealing with phonecalls from the school and having to do his Xmas shopping for him because he isn’t allowed any money. The dentist is literally the only task that his mum takes care of, and she reckons she’s exhausted??

Six years ago, J told me that he wasn't going to "do" Santa as he never wanted to lie to his child. He just showed me the toys he bought for the animals "from Santa" as he doesn't want A to be sad that Santa doesn't bring presents to pets. FFS.
