The last time that happened to me, I turned my engine off and started doing my make up in my rear view mirror. They were going mental but I kept faux applying lipstick until they backed down.

There's a narrow tunnel thing on my way to work so you have to take it in turns to pass - technically. I think 4 cars is a fair number to allow through before you start reminding those on the other side that you need to get through, too, and most people seem to, so we zip along or stop and wave other drivers through quite nicely. Not so long ago someone in a massive fuck-off 4x4 decided that he should get through anyway and started thundering towards me, obviously expecting me in my little rollerskate to quail in his path - but I was livid with his poor manners so I carried on going and when he didn't back down I just turned my engine off and sat there. He eventually reversed with much flashing of the lights, beeping of the horn and waving of his metaphorical dick. I gave him a friendly wave as I drove past. It was glorious.

I once had a man in a muscle car demand I reversed onto a main road as he didn’t want to take his car up the kerb. I had right of way so I turned off my engine and sat while he screamed obscenities at me and threatened to ram my car. All he had to do was reverse a little. No kerb mounting needed.

My opponent was female and gesticulated wildly when she slowly passed me so I silently and very clearly mouthed the c word at her. Then gave her a friendly smile.

I had a similar incident a few years back; about a dozen cars were parked on the left side of the road so I was driving past them on the right lane. A car came towards me and instead of waiting for me to finish passing, got pretty much bonnet to bonnet with me and gesticulated at me to reverse.

Nope. I folded my arms, turned off my engine and steered him out. He got ragier, I ignored. I won.

He shoved his car into reverse and screeched off… right into the car sat behind him.

At which point I laughed, reversed and went a different way

Many years ago, my mum and I were in the car, on a narrow street, she was going to the bank and was looking for a parking space. A guy in a van turned onto the street, which we were already on. He gestured at my mum to reverse back. She refused. Then she got out and went into the bank :eek:

The guy went mad, shouting at me to move the car but I couldn't drive at the time so I just had to sit there while he reversed back out :lol:
