LBD is a good call.

I'd be fuming too!

This is what I really want to do.

I don't have a work lbd because we're all remote, so our clothing is business casual top & pajama pants or (very occasionally) courtroom attire. I also decluttered all clothing that I don't wear at least once a year and unfancy me apparently does nothing glamourous. However, you reminded me that I did make a decluttering exception and kept an l burgundy d (what I wore for my wedding :)) ) so will wear that.

Phew! I hate having to buy expensive clothes that will be worn once or twice at most.

I think I was overwrought due to vaccine booster side effects, but I was also really incensed that, despite asking for details for ages, they were just recently offered to everyone. Considering at least half of the guests are traveling from overseas, most from other countries and all from out of town, one would think a bit of planning would be required.

If the wedding required a new handbag or trainers, I'd not really have minded :))

I would love a trainer dress code for a wedding!

I'm not getting my Nik Naks out for anyone, let alone at a wedding.

The more you do something, the better you get at it? Oh really, wow, thanks for your insight. That is quite the revelation :woteva:

It was a post on LinkedIn so I probably shouldn't be surprised really

Also it doesn't really apply to everything. I could practise the piano from now till I die and I'll still never be any good at it :))

I would like to tell the coach of Chunk’s football team that’s he’s an illiterate areshole, and the other parents that it’s all very well agreeing with him now, but when he drops your kids, you’ll be whining then, knobheads.

(He hasn’t dropped mine yet, but I did speak up that I wasn’t happy with his two page mental rant he made us read.)

Anyway, kids’ bloody sports teams. Never ending dumbfuckery when all you want us your kids to run about and enjoy themselves.

This with bells on! D is noticeably happier now he’s not playing football with the toxic coach.

We just seem to have an endless supply of illiterate, toxic bullies for both shaped balls.

If you don’t mind travelling, chunk can join our team :))

S is much happier that the team split and he’s no longer with the temperamental coach.

You should have a welfare officer to shout at toxic and temperamental coaches.

The welfare officer at our club blocked me on Facebook because she’s friends with someone who took against C when he was non-toxically coaching. :ella:
