I hate tea so just have a box of Waitrose Essentials tea bags for tea-liking guests. Aren’t they lucky? No one has said they are rank yet though. :scary:

My mum always goes on about how Morrisons something-or-other tea is the best (I think according to Which?).

This has made me want to try more teas :adventurous: . Mr S bought me a fancy one for my birthday, it’s still English Breakfast but it’s so weak and insipid tasting - really disappointing. I like quite a strong tea with plenty of milk.

Assam might be a contender.

Just off to punch myself in the lady-nuts for that.

Oh God, I've just bought Clipper loose breakfast tea as it was the only loose one I could find and I've got obsessed about not using tea bags again.

I love that in between pages of partner complaints there is a peaceful oasis of tea.

I did think that might happen. For the record, we have drunk Yorkshire Tea for years.

We’re cooking marinated carrots on the barbecue. Ours aren’t baby carrots like the picture, so I expected to find them halved lengthways. Can you guess what he’d done?

I was just going to ask if it was discs before I saw Emma's post.

I am (perhaps unreasonably) annoyed by Mr D – I bought a jigsaw to do with D to give him a bit of quiet time with me. Mr D (who has always said how much he hated jigsaw) has done lots of it, including sorting out all the pieces to see what goes together, the edges, the main picture bits. He says he did it with D (he didn't) and he's now making me feel really petty for being annoyed with him about it. He keeps saying that I can finish it off but he doesn't seem to understand that I wanted to do it myself. (If he'd said he wanted to do it as well, I would have been happy to let him – he didn't ask, just took over and did it when I was working).

Oh God, petty.

Erm, why’s he helping himself to your puzzle? I’d be breaking that up and starting again, the competitive idiot :flo:.

Yeah, that’s not a petty reaction, that’s fucking annoying. Do what Ella suggests. He can’t have a problem with that, since he hates jigsaws so much.

I would also break it up. If he wants to re-do it after you've completed it, then he can do it then can't he?

That’s like someone looking over your shoulder and making suggestions when you play solitaire! While also claiming to hate solitaire :ella: It’s not as if you need or asked for the ‘help’.
