Well, this day just keeps on giving to you, smal, doesn't it? Hopefully there are no maggots in the washing machine.

Oh no, Smal, what an awful day.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Oh Smal  It won't fix much but I can do a socially distanced laundry service if you need it.

I remember your meltdown, Ken. 😂

Just leave the bin outside tipped on its head and give it a blast with a hose and some bleach this evening and it'll be totally clear. Especially if your bin cost a lot!

Maggots really aren't a problem, but I get why some may be bothered by them.

Thanks. My mum has offered (swearing blind she'd wear mask, goggles and gloves in case we're infected), but actually the last two times when we dragged it out, emptied it and reran it, it was fine (for several weeks, anyway). It's just dragging it out and emptying it is an enormous PITA.

And TC, Maggots definitely aren't a problem now I queued for 45minutes and lobbed the bin in the tip :perky:

Oh Smal  And I have had the flattering bathroom light revelation too.

At the park on Saturday Beebie met a little boy and they played nicely. I enjoyed seeing him socialising so let it happen, but it ended badly when the little boy fell in the duck pond. At least that will serve as a good lesson for Beebie, I reassured myself, as I am always warning him to be careful. Today we went to feed the ducks. Guess what happened next?

It's a running joke in our house that the SAM always has one wet foot from falling in somewhere.

I am pleased to hear you say that because I have been feeling awful about it. He's insisting he's fine with his wee chin stuck out, but he has been very pale and won't let me leave his side.

Poor boy. It’s probably shock from sudden cold as much as anything else.

Oh wee soul, he would have got a real fright!

It is a rite of passage for a southside child though.

Oh no! Poor Beebie.

J and my nephew both did that at a NT property, but also managed to get stuck. I waded in without thinking, forgetting I had a baby TD strapped to my back, and nearly went over myself. It was like a bloody Victorian farce and all three (four) of us had to be rescued by my BIL, who's never let me live it down :lg:

My son came sailing down a hill on his bike, braked too late and went straight over his handlebars into the pond. Luckily it was only about 6 inches deep.I don't think I have ever moved so fast

There's a massive fucking lizard in my bedroom. :bob: J says we won't be able to get him out and we'll just have to wait until he decides to leave by whichever way he came in.
