FML
Vent all your irritations here. Nothing is too small or tedious to re-tell.
If you have an actual problem (like your face has fallen off/ house has blown up) then this is not the thread for you.
I will start:
1) my favourite jumper shrunk
2) I managed to fuck up a very simple lunch of soft boiled egg on toast

Re: FML
I saw a "hack" for rescuing shrunk items yesterday, I'll see if I can find it.
ETA: http://www.whowhatwear.com/how-to-unshrink-clothes This wasn't actually it, but is conveniently less annoying as it doesn't include the word "hack".
My clean bathtowel smelt really weird this morning

Re: FML
The mother's day presents I ordered from John Lewis look too small. Now I need to find something else. By tomorrow.
William dropped a glass of milk on his rug which I thought was machine washable. Except it isn't. So now I need to scrub out milky rug by hand.

I bought a new electric toothbrush ages ago because it was in a sale, I hadn't even unpacked it until now because I had heads to use up with my old one. I got the new one out today and it won't charge

Oh that's sad, Thora.
A couple of the women in my office do this whole secret-whisper, arrange by email while sitting next to each other, wait-til-the-coast-is-clear scuttle out to lunch together. Day after day. The pathetic-ness of it gets right on my wick.

There are a lot of baby geckos running around. Normally I love them, but there are so many (10+ around the flat) that I am worried I might squash one as it darts across the floor.
I finished the first half of Season 4 of Revenge and don't want to wait another few months to get the second half on DVD (downloading not an option)

SunnyDad bought a different brand of washing powder to my usual one. Now all my clothes smell like my MIL His subconscious seems to have taken him 29 years back in time where his mother washed his clothes for him with Le Chat soap.
I'm going to have to wash everything again and donate the washing powder to MIL.

There is no washing up liquid in the office kitchen so I've had to clean my spoon and bowl with some kind of surface spray and now I'm worried that the chemicals might kill me.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.
