I will if we see him again, rather than just hear him, moving around, doing unspeakable things to my clothes.
I actually quite like lizards, just not in my bedroom.

Oh god! I had a lizard in my room on my last holiday and had to get P to get someone from the hotel to get it out whilst I cowered in the toilet.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

Power cut! Whole area apparently, due to an underground cable giving out. Not like its a day when you need a fan or anything...

I hope your lizard leaves soon, Zoomer.
Oh no, Derek! Hope you have power again soon.
I cut the corner of my mouth open on a piece of sourdough and it hurts beyond belief.

I'm glad your power is back, Del! And ouch! Olive, that sounds painful, albeit slightly hipsterish.
We have no news of the lizard. He might be still there and cowering in a corner, or he might have left the building, like Elvis.

I’d love to have a lizard in my room. You won’t get plagued with flies at least.
However, it’d be awful if you didn’t want one there.

We had geckos inside our old house. I used to get a fright when I saw them dart behind the toy box as for a minute I would always think it was a snake. We have heaps of them at our current house but they stay outside. You hear them chirp loudly every evening.

We get small lizards here quite a lot - only once have I seen one come inside, even though there's a female that comes onto a southern windowsill quite a bit. I'm not bothered for myself, but I am very concerned that they'll die of thirst / get stuck or injured. The fly-eating aspect is certainly a plus!

Small lizards are lovely. This one was about as big as my foot.
Anyway, it didn't suck my face off in the night, so that's a bonus.

A lizard!
When we were in Sri Lanka a gecko fell on my friend's face while she was sleeping. Joy! did you get a photo?

As if by mentioning it, I’ve just come back downstairs from putting the children to bed and there was a gecko on the dining room floor!

I have such gecko envy! They're very lucky, you know.

The first time I encountered a gecko making noises (in a hotel room in Bali) I thought it was a hiding monkey

Remember when I was at yours and there was a salamander in the kind of outhouse building where the freezers are when you were showing us around? I like lizards but I really didn't want to go down there on my own after that!!

Oh yeah, that was a big one too. And us heroically scurrying off and leaving the men to deal with it.
There's far too much nature around here at times.
