I've had a look, and she's now telling me to change my settings if I don't want her to comment. People are strange.

That's so strange. 'your settings shouldn't allow me to be a rude arsehole'.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

I know. I have deleted the thread, as the friend I tagged (D) has been messaging me to say that the numptie is very upset, and it is clear that she is, too. FFS. D is an author, and the woman is an illustrator, who is apparently famous (she designed the Relax album cover), and I'm guessing that D wants to keep in with her. She (D) definitely sees things as me being rude, so thanks for confirming that it was the other way round. I'm quite worn out with it, and it was just a heads up about the exhibition and an honest mistake about the medium of the bloody picture.

I went and read your thread, how on earth could Random Commenter have been upset?! Yes, you weren't all nice and polite in response to her one word comment on a stranger's post, but what was she expecting? Reasonably you could only have ignored her, posted as you did, or fallen over in gratitude thanking her for pointing out something that had already been mentioned hours beforehand.

It reminds me (without the ridiculous rudeness or anyone being "very upset") of when I tagged my brother in a photo of a ladybird covered in dew, as we'd been discussing photos taken of water magnifying things. I wrote "@brother - what do you think of this one?" and a friend of his commented "Ladybird" I wonder if he thought neither me nor my brother could work out that it was a ladybird in the photo?!

I know. I don't get it, but people are odd. D said that she could understand her being upset, because she is such a talented artist, blah blah. I did point out that talent doesn't excuse rudeness, but got nowhere. Life's too short, though, so I've deleted it, but thanks for confirming that I'm not going mad :)).

A friend of mine ordered a cat scratching post from an advert on Facebook and was delivered a ball of string. :mog:

I would never order from one of those adverts. They all look so dodgy.

I like the 'Good Condition'. What would used lip balm in bad condition sell for?

A local pub/hotel, which gets terrible reviews and doesn’t look particularly inviting, has been doing various bits of promotion on local groups. The misspelling and the choice of photo is killing me.

Get a booking made now - when people see that, you'll never get a table.
