I think my name is on a testing panel for one of the technologists on gifting. But I prefer to think it’s a sign from the CEO that he’s rethinking his stupid right wing stance.

Well done Mr P!

The roses would unnerve me Pip, I’d have to find out.

No gifting here thankfully. Betty was inundated with presents last year but not this one. I’m really shocked at all the large gift bags carried into (primary) school this morning. The only nod to the day is a love heart plaited into her hair.

Well done Mr Purple!

I'm off to London today, to meet my cousin and her little girl, and another cousin and an uncle. So not romantic at all.

It’s a user testing thing. I’ve been sent them before at Christmas & Easter to check the packers & couriers are getting it right. Mystery solved & magic ruined with 45 minutes. At least I still have my riches.

Well done to Mr P_D!

Good morning! We agreed cards only and I woke up to a small stuffed toy (it was one I had admired previously). J has a card.

Well done to Mr Purple!

I have to get through work, I have nearly 300 emails to try to clear down and later we're going to the cinema to see Sonic the Hedgehog.

Morning. I’m on a train about to head up to Leeds to see my dad. So not very romantic :) I got a card that I haven’t opened yet & a massive box of chocolates that I opened last night.

Morning. S and I did really well with our Valentines' cards, he bought me one that says happy birthday and I bought him one that said happy anniversary so an equal failure on both parts. :mog:

Morning

We don't do valentines day here, but D sometimes brings home flowers for me, so we'll see. I always feel bad if he does though, as I don't even bother with a card!

Morning. MrTex is in Abu Dhabi but we managed to exchange cards. My present was an upgrade to business class (I’m flying out with the boys tomorrow) which is possibly the best present ever.

We have fully embraced the ignoring it all - no cards, no presents although S did get Alexa to do a poem for me :))

Standard day of pottering, food shopping, being a taxi service and wine.

Good thing Mr P isn't a jealous type!

We're a SVD-free zone here, though I did think I ought to show willing with the shop window and sewed up a large red satin heart to hang up. Unfortunately, my choice of stuffing - mostly recycled/shredded t-shirts - was a complete failure and the thing just looked like a rather fancy laundry bag. :mog:

Hello lovely turtles! I feel like I haven't been around these parts much recently.

We don't bother with Valentine's cards and the like, but there is some English sparkling wine in the fridge for later, and a meal booked for tomorrow.

A colleague bought us all bacon naan rolls from Dishoom this morning! He's now my favourite.

Thats a hell of a win, Tex!

Hello. Today doesn't exist in my calendar so it's just Friday here. Same old story going on here really, I'm looking forward to getting home tonight, maybe doing some more hell reps and then chilling.

It's a child free weekend so it should be a relaxing one.

It's mine and J's first Valentine Day so we exchanged cards and he got me a salted almond Ritter Sport. :hbeat: He also wrote lovely things inside my card, because he's a big romantic fool. :love2:

Ooh, business class! That’s a great gift. As are bacon rolls (I’ve booked us in for a Dishoom brunch next week).

Leaving the kids would be the ultimate gift!

The fence chap has been and I’ve taken my kettlebell to the park for a workout. I’m achieving so much today.

Just looked carefully at the cheque though and the £25 win is Chunk’s. :lg:
