 business class is an amazing gift, but even better without kids. ;)

Hello Rosa! How's the house? I do like a bit of ESW.

We're on the train. It's about a million times more relaxing than when I took them on my own.

Just looked carefully at the cheque though and the £25 win is Chunk’s. :lg:

The house is good, thanks, Ken! Still not 100% finished but just snags inside now. The next project is getting the front done. I hope the train journey continues to be relaxing, and Topsy and Tim are doing well.

An upgrade to business class is a great gift!

It must be lovely to be living there now and having it all just as you want.

No Valentine's Day here. I am WFH and about to battle through the wind to the post office with some eBay sales. I made £65 on unwanted kitchen stuff but have accidentally spent half of it on a glass pear so I'm not as wealthy as I could be.

I don't know what to have for lunch.

What do you do with a glass pear, Alan?

Sit it beside her glass apple, I assume.

ETA: I am pleased for you Bean, I know you wanted one.

Sadly the boys will also be in business class but if that means they sleep a bit it’s a price worth paying.

Of course! I can't believe I didn't think of that.

I have not had a very romantic morning. I got in the car to drive to my parents' and it wouldn't start. The lovely garage sent an attractive man over who jump started it and took away to be looked at. It needs a new battery. I only had the stupid thing serviced two weeks ago. I am basically a bottomless pit at the moment as I also received a £10,000 bill this morning for house stuff.

The garage has been amazing though and will drop the car off in half an hour.

That’s annoying Nine. But at least it was easily sorted.

You’re still up, Beab!

I had egg mayo cobs with S&V squares for lunch, I recommend those for anyone in need of inspiration. C made me a packed lunch when he was doing his to take to work. :) There was also a pastel de nata from Lidl.

I snagged some leggings while folding laundry so I’m a bit gutted. They are ones that were a bit tatty & big anyway, but they’re also irreplaceable. So I’m down on winnings and leggings. Oh well.

Lidl's pastel de nata is one of the best!

I have done my work meeting, and then I went to spin. Now I'm going shopping with my mum, we have 20% vouchers for M&S :)

Shoe is correct. But I can understand you wondering.

It’s my actual birthday, so I despise SVD since none of my friends ever want to come out, and even if they did everywhere is fully booked, overpriced, romantically twee or full of desperate singles either trying to pull or celebrating their singleness loudly and aggressively with alcohol.

Happy birthday, Hippy!

N's birthday was yesterday so we have been out for lunch today. N had a voucher for Chiquito's so we went there but we'd forgotten about SVD and it meant they wouldn't accept the voucher . Then we've been women with power tools, and built a wood store for my garden. She did most of the work. She was out last night with her boyfriend and will be out again tonight, so she's probably sick of restaurant food.

Congrats to Chunk on his new-found wealth, and I hope Tupac enjoys his school taster.

Is this a new boyfriend Rosy or is she back with her old one?

I got lovely flowers and chocolates but no special celebrations tonight . I’m waiting for Zumba to start then will pop to Sainsbury’s to find something for myself to eat.

Hello lovebirds.

I love power tools. Well, all tools really.

I'm home alone after wfh all day.

I've had some rice with smoked tofu, courgette, spinach, roast potatoes and lemon. I'm having a glass of wine and will take to my bed and watch Sex Education.

Good evening. I have a can of diet coke and toast as I don't feel like real food. I've been headachy all day. I am making a notebook for my sister and it isn't going well.

It’s the one she started seeing this time last year - they split up for a month over Christmas but started talking again and realised that they had both been scared off instead of talking it over. I think they’ve learned to communicate better now.

I hope you feel better soon, Bean. And the notebook making cones good.

Look what she made! Excuse my messy kitchen windowsill.
