Well we’re still on the ground. Currently 1hr 20mins late. :lg: It was too windy for them to safely put the bags on because the “bins” are too light. Now they’re on but they’re checking them so that none get left behind!

I would like to know more about pop-a-cobs.

Good luck Cerise!

It's an absolutely shit day outside, I went to the pharmacy to fill my prescription before my massage, the second pharmacy I'd tried, and the pharmacist was on lunch. So I had to trek back there after my massage, its only about a 5 minute walk from the salon but both times I got soaked through. Then I got soaked again going in and out of the supermarket. I had to take my jeans off as soon as I got home, and water was just running off my (waterproof) coat.

Still I am home now, and I got my favourite gin on special offer so small wins!

Which gin is that Sal? You probably need one now to warm up.

My inlaws have invited themselves round this evening.

I’m sad for the dead smilies.

Which tonic do you have with it, Sal? Whitley Neill do a nice range of flavours, the gooseberry looks interesting to try.

I have it with hibiscus tonic, Merchant heart one usually but I think Lamb & Watt do one too.

You're definitely making the most of a bad situation, Baa!

I'm on my way home. I have to change to a bus replacement half way through and then get on another train after that so I'm looking forward to actually getting back.

The lady on the end yanked us up  it's so scary, I can barely walk in ski boots, let alone on a high wet table

Water is dripping (ha!) down our chimney breast and is leaking through to our bedroom. I actually hate this house. I'm on hold to the insurers but I'm not sure what they can do.

Oh no. :(

I survived the replacement bus but the final train has been delayed because of a tree on the line.

It's not been too bad of a day here - a bit wet but no wind until about an hour ago but it has really picked up now.

I hope you can sort something skips.

No going. I have to call back Monday and submit a claim. We have the mop bucket under the drip, it's not coming in one place in the loft so there isn't much we can do, it's running down the chimney breast.

Skips, you poor sod. Has it done this before?

I hope you get home safely, Ken.

It's not to my knowledge. We've been up in the loft during rain before have haven't noticed any leaks. This is pretty noticeable.
