Re: Home Working Set Up
I’ve enjoyed looking through these, everyone is making do so well!
Mine is a bit rubbish, as I’ve had to use the chest of drawers that is normally my dressing table, but I’m just doing basic essential work at the moment, so I’m only on it for about an hour or so a day. Mr H has commandeered the computer desk downstairs and also needs the dining table to spread out plans and drawings, but he does the actual work that earns the money so I’m going to let it go.
Not going to lie though, my bedroom co-worker is useless. Either she does nothing, or tries to lie over every folder & bit of paper I leave on the bed, or actually tries to chew invoices. I’ve had to give her her own bit of paper as a distraction for chewing, like giving a dog a bone to keep it busy.

I don’t think your co-worker is going to get a productivity bonus, Hobbes!
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

My eldest has just sent me a picture of his home working set up - standing desk and view of the New York skyline. He said he had to get his gf to corral their dog and two cats in the bedroom long enough to take the photo!

This is my cobbled together workspace. I ordered an office chair from IKEA yesterday as the dining chairs are only comfy for so long.

I think I need an office chair. I'm tempted to try and get one in my car as I'm in the office tomorrow

Do it Skips! Lots of my colleagues have taken theirs home at various points - why not, as long as you bring it back?

If I can get it to fit I will, i think there is a spare old one so I don't have to lug it back and forth.

I think I’m going to blow up my big orange ball to sit on for a bit.

I pumped up my ball. The mess the entire house is in is really upsetting me though, and the kids are crowding me out of every room I try to use.
