I like that cross stitch. Also Hop in the red babygro is literally the cutest thing I have ever seen. She is so squishable.

Hop is ridiculous! I am impressed that she is back down for a nap having woken at 9am!

Hop’s cheeks are so cute. I miss having a small baby about the place.
I don’t think I’m 100% sure what a cross stitch is. Are they usually decorative or a design for something specific? Can you cross stitch a blanket or pair of socks for example. I know I can google but humour me.

She's out for the count!
Where is that amazing cross stitch pattern from, Leap? I can add it to the list of projects I won't get done during lockdown.

We need a photo of you too, please Leap. It's tradition.

That's a good cross stitch!
We're also back to every two hours, if not more often, when both of them have in the past managed five hours at a couple of points. It's so disappointing. It's so much easier with P around all the time now though.
Lora is right.

If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

That cross stitch is lovely. What will you do with it when it’s finished?

I like the idea of doing a cross stitch project. It seems soothing.
Hop reminds me so much of my R when she was that age! Although R hated being on her tummy with a passion.

I too love the cross stitch. It reminds me of a painting but I can't remember the name of the artist.

Re: Leap and Hop’s Thursday
Cross stitch is decorative. So literally lots of stitches sewn into crosses onto fabric, that eventually makes up an image. So in Leap's photo, each tiny square is one cross.olive wrote: ↑Thu Mar 26, 2020 12:56 pm Hop’s cheeks are so cute. I miss having a small baby about the place.

Hop is the best and a clever girl for learning rolling over.
Also, I love Stephen King and The Stand in particular but even I'm drawing the line at this stage of events from re-reading that one (and I've been to Boulder and a few other places just because it's in the book!)

Oh I would LOVE to do that Hazey. Both Maine and Boulder. Trash has just picked up his atonement gift for Flagg so I am just about done
We are on nap 2 now and she did MUCH better this time - still on her front but she figured it out much sooner. I’m still watching her every move on the monitor, I don’t need to tell most of you I’ve had some really top quality intrusive thoughts of something terrible happening while I’m blithely posting pictures to the internet
Oh she is awake now, I’ve missed my posting window as I had lunch first (she sleeps every 2 hours but only for 30 mins mostly). Here is the gist.

Hop lunch, then mine. We have almost run out of butter so this was a bit sad. And I have washed the mug now!

What a super day so far! Where’s Spot is bringing back memories. Is he in the clock? No, there’s a ssssssssnake in the clock!
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Re: Leap and Hop’s Thursday
OH MY GOD, Hop is ADORABLE! Those cheeks
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.
