Stealing babies includes non-essential travel, guys. :lg:

Maybe travel to steal a baby is essential?

Look at that baby! I really want to smoosh those cheeks.

Are you sure you have enough granola?

Did I mention just before lockdown we moved to Timbuktu? :look:

With The Stand I just kept thinking about it and couldn’t get it out of my head. Captain Trips is actually almost comforting in that it is most definitely much worse than CV :logic:

Hop woke at 9, and she’s had some time playing and also some chill time in the bouncer. Another thing that’s easier with C home is showering - I used to have to take her into the bathroom in the bouncer, but C takes over now so I am showered and on a 2 day streak of wearing make up  I’m still in loungewear but will change soon.

We’re having a total nap disaster just now though  She naps so well during the day, but literally just yesterday she learned how to roll over and get up on her hands and knees in the cot, and she doesn’t know how to sleep that way. It’s her morning nap just now and I’ve rescued her once, but she’s back in the cot and back doing it so I’m trying to wait her out to see if she figures out she needs to lie back down, or tires herself out and gets there that way. She normally just lies on her back, rubs her muslin on her face for a bit and then falls fast asleep. I miss it already!

Hello Captain Cali!

Sorry about your nap woes. She is lovely though.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

I LOVE HER.

I always found that a newfound ability to do ANYTHING resulted in loads of practising and no actual sleeping.

Beatrix, that is terrifying

She is now asleep, face down :lg: At first her face was definitely clear so I was sewing (cross stitch) and listening to a podcast (murder - Casefile) but now she’s faceplanted I’m watching her with the volume turned up. She does keep moving but it is not at all restful for me

Ken - she’s in a pattern of waking every 2-4 hours which is definitely good, but before the last leap she was getting up to 5-6 hour stretches and I am a bit sorry that hasn’t re-emerged. How are T&T’s wake ups?

And Toast, I started to scale back the giant bowls of granola I was having, but you might be right as I’m a bit hungry just now. All my good snacks are gone though
