Congrats, Del!

I was going to go for a walk this afternoon but it’s just started pissing it down. Apple weather is shit.

Hurrah for a new car!

I am not having a roast, I'm going to have buttermilk fried chicken. I'm making brown butter and chicken fat focaccia to go with it. I'll have to get chicken into the veg dish too

Well, I've been keeping an eye on the market for months now, and it's the first thing that's come up that's ticked my numerous boxes. So I carpe diemed :))

It felt...ok, I just find driving really stressful in itself but I drove pretty much one straight road all the way home so it wasn't too bad. Definitely best to rip the plaster off and just do it though, if someone else had driven it for me I'd have dithered about it forever.

Happy new car!

We've been for a damp walk which was lovely. I'm going to assemble a lasagne then we'll have a late lunch/ very early dinner then settle down on the sofa to watch a film.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

Happy new car!

I want a roast dinner now, but we are having steak and chips instead.

I bought a new sofa for the conservatory. It is bright pink and I thought OH would put his foot down but he didn’t. 10 weeks for delivery though.

Happy car, Derek! When I got mine just before lockdown I hadn't really driven for about ten years (bar a few journeys when we got the previous car five years ago) and I was fine pretty quickly although I'm still a bit nervous of getting on the motorway.

A bright pink sofa sounds cool!

I wouldn't mind a roast after reading this thread, but P has made lasagne which is a pretty good alternative.

You are so brave Derek! I asked S’s driver to drive our car home for us (RIP Grey Flame) and then had to build up to actually driving it :shame:

We just walked across the common in the rain to hand deliver a lamb bone to a dog :george: We came back down Marryat Road which has the most mind bending views of London.

We’re having courgette pasta with spinach balls for dinner and I just made granola and have popped an Italian style chocolate cake in the oven.

I am back to work tomorrow :weewee:

Ah, but you'd have been driving on the wrong side of the road :)

I am commencing operation tidy this flat, then have about 30 mins of work that I should have done on Friday but singularly failed to do. Then, hardcore lounging.

Happy new car, Derek! I have a huge soft spot for the Jazz as my dad drove a pink one for years and he loved it so much

I have a roasted chicken in my fridge that I cooked yesterday and I'm unsure whether to turn the into a full roast dinner or attempt to turn it into a curry.

It’s time for a Sunday cocktail! Dark & stormy with spiced orange ginger ale? Ok then.
