I finally got round to sewing some loops onto my duvet cover today so I can attach it to the duvet. I must stop buying Zara bedding, it never bloody fits.

Anyway, what I really wanted to tell you is I couldn’t decide between sausages and mashed potatoes for dinner or pie so I’ve decided to have both!

How long has he had it?

We are back from the soggy seaside. I got the girls to make a No Mow May poster to encourage our neighbours (explain why we’ve not done ours  ).

A night of family television beckons.

Strong choice, Toast.

Has it been there 20 years, Pip?

What's No Mow May?

We are doing No Mow May and I have a sign in the window. The milkman laughed at us and said it was a good excuse for being lazy.

We’re doing it accidentally so far.

I'm doing No Mow May, but have also done No Mow September-April.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

I feel bad about not doing no mow May but we've only got about 10sq m of lawn and it's almost at eyeline and it'll annoy me so I'm not. Soz bees. The rest of the garden is an actual bee feast so they'll have to make do.

Us too, Ken, or D is as I have abdicated all responsibility for the garden.

Yes, I can’t bear unkempt lawns. There’s plenty of other stuff for the insects in my garden.

Me too! I'm happy (lazy) to continue.
