We know excessive consumerism is destroying the planet etc. BUT. Have you spotted amazing deals on things that you actually need & will use?

The haircare brand I sort of like has a sale on selected sizes (it’s a bit random, but also due to them switching packaging), so I have bought 2 bottles of shampoo. I’m still using the bottle of conditioner I bought from them last November and the shampoo only recently ran out, so it’s good & long lasting and very useful.

Being the basic bitch that I am, I took advantage of 50% off at the Gap and ordered a bunch more tops and pyjama shorts.

I've bought two 5 litre faith in nature shampoo and body wash and bamboo toothbrushes etc from H&B with their Black Friday deal.

I have bought a snow globe dress for Liv and air pods for G. Oh also some Ouai Chill Pills for me.

I want to buy 3 iPhones (not 13s) but I doubt I’ll see any massive deals on Friday so it’s likely I’ll be buying reconditioned ones.

I don’t want 3 I’m looking for them on behalf of my Mum for Christmas presents.

I ordered a black top from Monsoon, to go with the glittery skirt I have for Christmas. I'm not sure the top will work but I'll see.

I'm also considering a Joseph Joseph totem bin thanks to the thread on here

I bought some Liz Earle cleanse and polish, a skateboard for BM’s Christmas, and a few things from the Joanie 40% off deal.

I also need to look for a hover board for a Santa present, because I like to buy my child as many things to fall off as possible

I’ve bought an Ooni pizza oven. Mainly so when our kitchen is out of action for months I can still have pizza. It was 20% off so a good deal.

I always feel left out with this as I know there’s some good deals but I don’t use any products like moisturiser etc, (very greasy spotty skin) and my hair is paper thin pathetic and only requires supermarket stuff or it just ends up greasy.

Do they have alcohol on Black Friday deals? Mr loves a bourbon so if I could get a decent bottle for less that might help. Which sites are best?

I guess so. I think I got gin last year? Perhaps. Or it could have been on Prime Day. Master of Malt is a good site.

It’s not just beauty stuff; it just happens that that’s all I’ve bought so far.

I might look for a keyboard case for my iPad but only if it’s a good deal.

We are toying with getting Echo Dots for the kids bedrooms for Christmas. This thread has prompted me to look for specials on them.

I got the rainbow jumper, the Breton with the paintbrushes
and the blue Ahoy Sailor t-shirt.

I am covering a lot of the dresses, but the sensible part of my brain will only let me buy stretchy, comfy clothes just now.

The Bungle rainbow jumper? I love that, it’s so pretty. My jumper drawer is bursting though.

True to size/slightly generous, I would say. The measurement in the size guide are pretty accurate & reviews are good. The hashtag #joaniegal is helpful on Instagram.

I’ve bought some Christmas booze presents from Master of Malt, and some Kerastase for myself. I’d also like some noise cancelling headphones but I’ve not seen any good offers yet.
