:mog: Well detrain is a word on Boggle so fair enough.

I couldn't figure out today's until I read this thread and saw that double letters were in play.

Double letters is a bit unfair IMHO. Sneaky.

Timely- https://www.theguardian.com/games/2022/ ... your-money

This thread got me very curious and based (ooh that’s a good one to start with) on it gave it a bash. I found the one on the 4th tricky- as well as getting the hang of it- but because it is the 5th here and I can’t sleep I’ve done today’s already in four goes.

I’d nothing else, it will be good for my English which I feel like I’m forgetting

I tried it for the first time today (after reading this) and just managed to get it after much head-scratching, because of the double letter thing. I wasn't expecting that, but there were no words that could possibly fit without using one letter twice.

Are they random, or does everyone get the same one every day?

I thought it was the same for everyone, given that it is now no longer the 4th in the UK where the majority of Turtles are, yesterday I had

I’ve just done the one for the 5th and it took me 5 again. I had 4 letters in the right place after 3 but it took me 2 more goes as there were options for the 5th letter and I guessed wrong (three times including the third line itself) :verm:

I did it in three, but only because I hit lucky by using one of the start words recommended upthread, and it gave me four letters :)).

I started with PEACH and got it in four. Yesterday was my first attempt and I got it in five.
Can you go back and try older ones?

Today is my first day. I started with stile and got it in four. Earth/heart and irate are definitely good words to start with.

Probably best we don’t read the thread each day until we’ve solved it!

I got it in three today, more by luck than judgement, I think.
