I mean, it's not glamour but it is the freaking best.

I’ve gone a little mental and bought two cleansing oils. The Avene one I fancied was out of stock, so I bought Uriage, which isn’t a range I’ve tried before. But then Avene came back in stock so I got that too, while it’s French Pharmacy month at Escentual. I also bought more azelaic acid and a primer for Squeak.

I’ve just tried the Uriage in the shower & it smells gorgeous, which makes me think it’s better for body than face.

I’m not usually one for micellar waters, but I got a sample of one called SVR Sensifine, and I’m really impressed with it. It removes mascara and other makeup well with no stinging or scrubbing, and my eyes feel nice and refreshed after using it. At £15, I don’t think it’s cheap as far as these things go, but I might buy it again instead of my usual eye makeup remover.

This isn’t fancy but it’s really lovely. Super light and quick absorbing. Plus it smells nice.

I've saved myself by not buying the Pai rosehip cleansing oil. It feels lovely but doesn't take makeup off as proven by a filthy cotton pad used with micellar water afterwards.

Re: Magic Beans
I’ve bought the YSL Faux Cils & a lipstick set (again), because it’s a fantastic mascara, and I loved the lipstick & lost it, like a fool. I’ve emptied every handbag I own, twice, and no luck. I found it at Debenhams for a really good price, so it’s my Christmas gift to myself.
The real question is though, how many times will I use that justification for purchases in the next two weeks? ;)

I've treated myself to the Liberty sleep kit which is 20% off and I bought with my beauty drop vouchers so it was "free". I love the wash bag and the bath salts smell amazing, they're lavender & jasmine. I also need moisturiser and face wash so it's all entirely justifiable!
I think a couple of the other kits are also discounted.

I never really got the point of a mist but in this dry, freezing weather I've dug out a Barry M hyalauronic acid setting spray and it's been great for making my skin feel more comfortable plus keep my makeup on. I think they've updated the range since I got it but they are so good and cheap I don't know why I didn't use it sooner

Re: Magic Beans
I bought this and the matching conditioner as I’m embracing the curls again, and my hair seems to really like it.

Ooh, I’ve not seen that one. Squeak likes the hibiscus one sometimes.
