Yes, I had the Paula’s Choice BHA and it is sticky. I think I used it at night so stuck with it but never repurchased.

I sometimes feel a bit tacky after I've used liquid gold, not massively so but enough that I've noticed.

Thanks, both. Must just be one of those things. Now that you mention it, I think I had it with Liquid Gold too.

A little bit late to this particular train but The Ordinary hit one of the German chains this week so I ordered myself some bottles, I've got the hyaluronic, niacinamide & salicylic acids to try. I am disappointed that I did not wake up with skin like a 17 year old again thi smorning.

Trust me to find it just as the company is about to go tits up.

I'm going to Sephora tomorrow and they usually have it so I'll pick one up if I see one.

If anyone else wants anything then just give me a shout.

Alternatively, the Body Shop bronzer in the palest shade is great. Very pale and no shimmer.

I really rate TBS bronzer. If I ever use it up though I am going to buy the No 7 one.

No luck I'm afraid, Lils. I'm going to the US in a couple of weeks so can look then if you've not had any luck in the meantime. I need to go anyway so it's no bother.

It's kind of you for looking anyway, thanks!

I will try and pop into the The Body Shop at the weekend.

I bought Lixir universal emulsion from Ebay half price and I really like it. My make up goes so well over it.

I also purchased a Buxom eyeliner which is a navy with glitter shot through it which sounds grim but looks lovely on. And Makeup Forever's diamond powder which is so twinkly and pretty.

I also got a sample of the new Elemis night cream that the Gleambots are raving about. It smells like spa and is totally lush.

I just got a very late birthday present. Anyone heard of The Hero Project?

My friend (the one I send you texts meant for her, about children). She knows I love this kind of stuff. The Night Drops look really good.

I tried the Night Drops last night and it smelled great and felt really nice. I’ve used the Glow Drops this morning and do feel slightly brighter.

I've been meaning to update this with my duty free buys for a couple of weeks. I got a Bobbi Brown shimmer brick in Bronze, Nars Orgasm blusher, and two Urban Decay eyeliners (Naked 3 double ended pencil and Mushroom). Then on the plane I bought a Frog Prince lipstick and a Perricone No Make Up Instant Blur. I am delighted with Frog Prince and eyeing up other Lipstick Queen options right now :)) .
It is more fun to talk with someone who doesn't use long, difficult words but rather short, easy words like "what about lunch?"
