Re: Magic Beans
I’ve just spent all my Boots points on some Elemis cleansing balm. :queenie10000001: I love it but it’s so expensive. There’s 20% off so I’ve not actually spent all my points. :))
I also bought some Flora & Curl shampoo and conditioner to try as it was on offer, and picked up a Miller Harris fragrance in TK Maxx, L’Eau Magnetic. It was basically 1/3rd of the RRP.

Indeed to re-stock on some products, but they’rre the most expensive ones, as ever. While I was in hospital, Sam threw away most of a bottle (mine:bite: of Good Genes. My skin could really do with it now, though.

I’ve been influenced by Sali H again and have ordered the Bobbi Brown mulberry shadow stick. A yoga teacher I sometimes go to works on the BB counter in John Lewis and we saw him today but he didn’t have it in stock. He did give us some samples that I’ve passed onto Squeak.
I win because It’s a tenner off at Boots though.

Re: Magic Beans
My skin has been a bit sore recently (I used adapalene again and I’ve damaged my skin barrier) so I got a new moisturiser. I also chucked one of these eyebrow pencils in my online basket as it was practically free and it’s really good.

I am generally lax on the skincare front, but my friend talked me into getting a mini Tata Harper facial at the mall the other week. I didn’t buy anything then but got a sample of the floral hydrating mask ($100 there) and of course I love it. I ordered it when I got back for 20% off from Space NK which feels like a bit of a bargain! It is gentle enough to leave on overnight, and my skin seems to like it. I am sure this is my magic potion for eternal youth!

Recently I have bought some bronzing gel from L’Oreal and a clutch of silicone free shampoo & conditioner by Noughty.
I need a new daytime moisturiser that doesn’t pill under makeup.

The La Roche-Posey Anthelios Age-Correct SPF 50 is my to go moisturiser all year round. I really love it and it's quite often on offer.

They have the offer on, so I’ve done a massive order with a code for an extra 10% off, plus I had loyalty points to spend for another £7 off.

Having extensively searched on it, Escentual is cheapest at the moment but it’s only free shipping over £30. Boots have it at 20% off so not a lot more, and less if you don’t need to pay for postage.

I had my makeup done at Hourglass today, as part of my gift experience at Harvey Nichols. The girl was really good, and the products were lovely, I bought an Ambient palette and the matching brush, then tried not to look too fazed by the cost

Lovely Sal. I've got an ambient lighting palette (3 colours) and I use it all the time.

I think that's the one I got, she used the two lighter colours together as a highlighter, and the darker colour as a bronzer?

This volume 1 one? https://www.hourglasscosmetics.co.uk/pr ... 7451421831
I was just reading the reviews and how other people use it. Seems like a lot of people use all the colours all over. I think I'd look like metal mickey if I did that!
I use the left colour with a big fluffy brush as a setting powder, the middle one as a highlighter and the third one as a bronzer. I rarely use the bronzer one though.
