It’s Bobbi Ghost of Tom. It’s nice, but I agree 4 perfumes is a bit much, it’s the one thing I’m trying not to buy any more of, and just use up what I have, so that’s slightly annoying!Pippedydeadeye wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 2:15 pm What was the perfume?
Today I got the Charming (?) Constance perfume by Penhaligons and it was the long awaited Pro-Collagen cleansing balm & cloth. It smells great.
Your Elemis calendar does sound lovely, all usable stuff!

That's good to hear the blusher and mascara are nice (i was already with happythose without even trying) though it is too much perfume surely?! :)) Yes though an eye cream, a nice moisturiser*, cleanser etc wouldn't go amiss.
I am now saving my Liberty cache for their seasonal big box things.
Thta's it HObbes, Ghost of Tom. Didnb't spray it buty tried ti smell it through the opening and it smelt like scent of Tom-cat to me.
* is it just me that thinks a dark spot cream is a bit too specific? I don;t have dark spots! Or areas of chloasma.
ETA I've opened all the doors again up to 23/12 and now it looks quite good. There is a nice barabra Sturm moisturiser and she has the best skin on this land so that's good (plus lovely shampoo and votary serum and sunday riley, nice cleanser) but I realise Dr Sebagh and his bloody hyaluronic serum has tipped me over the edge into hissy fit twat rage (plus 4 perfumes, 12 hair oils, 3 partridge bears).

I agree about 4 perfumes. In the M&S/John Lewis calendars I’ve had in the past, the perfume is always rather bland and generic so it appeals to all. Le Labo is good though.

I’ve been using that Barbara Sturm moisturiser and it’s lovely - a nice treat as it’s way, way out of my price range normally.
I’m really happy with today’s Liberty offering, their Stately Bouquet candle in Cashmere Woods (blackberry & musks). It smells amazing!

I’m surprised by the lack of eye cream in the calendar, its one of those generic suit everyone things so I always get one on the advent calendar every year.
I doubt that’s what’s behind door 25, as it’s a pretty big box. Please, please don’t be a beauty bag.

I decided to open the 25th drawer too in my calendar, so I’ve got dynamic resurfacing pads (today) and the full sized marine cream (tomorrow).
The perfume advent my friend made was a FULL SIZED Miller Harris Dance today. She really is the kindest, most generous friend ever.

Wow, that's so lovely of your friend! You must be a very good friend to her.
I'm very pleased with the candle too. I love to burn money. Smells lush.

I’ve loved everything I’ve ever tried from Barbara Sturm and I’d buy the whole range if I won the lottery.

Today was the last day for both my calendars. The yarn one contained chocolates and a few knitting/crochet ideas. The beauty one gave me a nice mascara. All in all I'm pleased!

Dic.
I’m pleased you’re pleased. Again. :))
Mine reckoned it contained two full routines but there are no instructions for said routines online so I’m slightly miffed by that because there are so many things and no real method to combine them effectively. I’m no idiot and can probably figure it out but still.

 I keep putting things back in the doors and forgetting what wad in there. I've taken everything out now.
I feel a bit overwhelmed with slotting things in to my skincare routine. That's weird though. Do you think it's an omission? Have you tried emailing them?

It is good isn’t it :) I’m enjoying the Rich Cream (?) moisturiser. I though it might be a bit much but it isn’t as heavy as it seems, if that makes sense.
