I’m tempted by the no 7 foundation but because I’d already seen you speak highly of it (I think) pip. I’m not a foundation person but I loved maybeline bb cream and it’s been discontinued. I did buy the -I can’t spell
Maybelline - hydrating serum foundation but I’m not sold on it.

I have the exact same thought process, Disco.

I've also picked up the Boots hair mousse she recommends as it's so cheap. And I also agree about the Paradise mascara. It's dreadful.

Oh Bean, I'm so upset about our BB cream. I kept forgetting to go to look for it when you said you were worried it had been discontinued so only realised last week you weren't crying wolf (like before  ).

I'm still eeking out the last of my Maybelline BB cream. :-(

Have I told you all about the Kiko Hydro Pro Glow? I got a bottle for Christmas and it's really nice. I use it on top of my normal moisturiser just before I apply my makeup, I've been using it with just powder over it and it definitely makes my skin look better.

I've recently started the ordinary squalane and really like it as an alternative to a hydrating serum. It's an oil but seems light enough not to affect make-up.

Nothing jumped out at me with the SH list, but I'm looking forward to seeing her skin care picks.

I'm waiting for the skincare list too, I wonder if there will be lots of new things or if she'll include a lot of her older favourites.

Is it worth buying? My current mousse is very drying so I need to try something else.

Ooh, Emma Hardie is bringing out a moringa gel cleanser on 2nd April. £34 though. I still want it.

Also 30% off REN with code CH30, apparently.

That sounds interesting, Ella!

I’m on a spending ban between now and forever (the end of April).

I've been trying, and really liking, the Dr Sturm hyaluronic serum. Then I looked up the price.

£230 for 30ml

I use the liquid eyeliner she mentions and it’s the shit. I never use any other. I hate the pens.

The skincare list is now available https://www.theguardian.com/fashion/201 ... s-under-15

I can vouch for the neutrogena hand gel, it sinks in beautifully. Despite the fact it’s on my desk at work I hardly use it which I must remedy.

I’d really like to know if Hali Sughes has a formal relationship with Beauty Pie...

It does look like it.

Thankfully I fully expected most of those recommendations and my purse is not twitching.

Do they not generally get good reviews, Ella?

Some interesting stuff on there - I'd love to see expanded recs on some of the brands where she's says that generally they're good.

Pip, you can join me in the ban corner - so far this year I've bought an eyebrow pencil and a lip balm. Oh, and I recently tried a Burts Bees lip oil which I'd bought - just dreadful; within minutes it had vanished from my lips and they felt really dry and in desperate need of moisture. Stick to their balms.
