I'm really liking the Josh Rosebrook balm. I got a sample in the last cult beauty bag and then went on ebay and bought a load more samples as it is £££ and that was a much cheaper way of getting the same quantity.

Luna wrote: Fri Oct 25, 2019 10:31 am Have you tried a good facial oil? Omega one from Ren ? https://www.renskincare.com/products/vi ... m-skin-oil
I’m using a serum first (I’ve got a few samples/ travel sized ones on the go) and I’m also using the Pixi rose oil at the moment which I feel is just sitting on my skin. I’ll look into REN as I do love their stuff.

I really like that Omega serum-oil.

I think a serum oil is a good idea. The DE C Firma is kind of an oily serum and I’m guessing that one is too. Oil alone does nothing for dehydration and it just sits in my skin too.

Also, not sure if you can get it over there but if budget isn’t a huge concern, Bioeffect would probably sort it out.

Actually, I had a sample of the Bioeffect and loved it but felt way spendy. I might need to suck up the cost or get my folks to buy it as a birthday present.

I stopped using DE C firma as I always seem to break out after using it. Although I wonder if it might have been the crappy DE sunscreen.

I bet it was the sunscreen. It sucks.

Sometimes Bioeffect is on for 25% off :uhh:. I know it’s expensive but it’s genuinely very good (for me).

I bought Sainsburys Boutique foundation last week as an emergency top up as I was running low and I am really liking it. Decent colour and coverage and it's build able. Plus it was only a fiver! I've bought another.

Cult Beauty has 25% off Oskia at the moment (and free shipping). The company itself may well do a better Black Friday offer- not sure- but in case you’re looking to replace any favourites.

There’s 30% off at Omorovicza now. I’d usually be tempted but I’m trying to use absolutely everything up first. I love the Acid Fix, lip balm and the vitamin C serum though :lg:.

Can anyone recommend a moisturiser with SPF (not 50 though, more like 30) that would be nice as a present for my mum? She usually uses Clinique Dramatically Different lotion usually but that hasn't got any SPF in it. Her skin is pretty normal and would want something quite light.

I haven't a clue really as I normally just get myself whatever looks interesting around the £10/15 range and have no brand loyalty, but I'd want to spend £30/40ish on it?

I use clinique superdefense and have done for years - that's spf 20. Or Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream is lovely but that's £££.

Is there a specifics reason for not wanting spf50?

I would’ve recommended alphaH. It’s really light.

Just that she said “not SPF50” but I suspect that could be borne out of an assumption it’d be like applying clay.

Thanks, I will take a look at those :)
