Re: All New Nails
Can we see a photo of what it's meant to look like? I'm genuinely puzzled and keep imagining you with a clump of powder stuck to your fingers

Re: All New Nails
They should just look like acrylics when done right, here is a short video with some amazing music : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x3_pzrZPLMM
I'm pretty sure my version will end up being more suitable to the Benny Hill theme tune and I will end up with powdery clumps.

A bit like when I try to bread crumb things and mainly just bread crumb my own fingers.

That's pretty much exactly how I expect the first try to go.

My pink ones on the previous page are powder. They look just like gel nails.

I’ve done tip and dip nails on myself... it’s not too tricky, the only thing I’d say is keep the glue off your cuticles and try and do thin layers otherwise it can look bloody awful!

Re: All New Nails
The powder thing looks really clever. I think it's especially useful for glitter stuff as it's really hard to get a good/ even distribution using normal polish without doing a million layers otherwise.
If your back's against the wall, turn around and write on it.

Me too, Shoe. So far I have ordered a circular contraption for thinning my thighs, some padded things for my plantar fascitis, some completely useless silicone washing up scrubbers, and one of those wrap around bras. The latter has yet to arrive but I'm sure it will be as useless as the rest.

I'm glad it's not just me.
I've done one hand, it's not perfect but it's also not a disaster.

Re: All New Nails
Oh! That’s lovely. Do let us know how easy it comes off? Have you seen those adverts for the gel remover you just paint on and it blisters off your gel polish? I am tempted
I am suckered in by those ads all the time though. I just bought some foundation thanks to an Instagram ad (that promised you could try it for 14 days, and it is nice but probably not worth £40 but I am too disorganised and can’t return it now )
I also bought a flexigel set a few months ago which I thought would be great for when I have the odd broken nail and it is NO WAY as easy to do them as their publicity infers.
Anyway, here are my current nails. They have just had a chop so feel really short (to me) but are nice and squared off now. I am still using Chroma Fix n Protect as a gel base and top coat (I don’t think it is as strong as a gel as it comes off easily with acetone) and that’s been great for reducing chipping. The turquoise glitter is Nail Junkie by Sinful Colors, I had forgotten about it and it is so lovely. Do you remember when they first came to the UK and we all bought 500 bottles each? this one is still like new, years later.

Re: All New Nails
I have the bubbly gel remover too.
My right hand looks like a child did it.
Also, I'm being supervised: Ignore all the crap on my table, please.

The powder nails look lovely as do Morri's but I LOVE the tigers! Are they for a reason?

Those look great Shoe! Everyone's nails do, actually! I'd never manage basic functions like getting dressed with nails that long Pov!

Re: All New Nails
How does it say to take your dip polish off, Shoe? I only ask cos to get mine off requires soaking/rubbing in acetone for 15/20 mins after grinding off the top layer.
