Are we still doing these?

The Liberty one is out today and, after last year’s massive fail, J set an alarm to order it  Hopefully he was in time.

Have you got your eye on anything?

Apparently S has his eye on one for me but I have no idea which one. I haven’t been looking at them because it’s out of my hands :)).

I saw the Cult Beauty one was already sold out, it seemed to go within about a day of being launched. Not that I, or my S, could afford it anyway.

I’m trying not to look or to want one. I managed without last year. I have a little tub of £2 coins saved up but I think those are my bedroom shutters fund now really, even though it was started with the intention to get the Liberty calendar.

I can't justify it. Partly because the thrifty Northumberland / Scottish family background is making me think WHATTHEFUCKHOWMUCH, but also because I already have a full-length bathroom cabinet rammed full of a backlog of toiletries and beauty products that I've not yet used.

I ideally need an advent calendar of low carb chocs and sweets instead, if anyone sees such a beast anywhere!

I’ve still got most of my stuff left from last year so I won’t bother :))

I’ve bought hardly anything this year for once so I reckon I’m good for it.

As usual, I won't, because I'd not find one that suits my simpleton skin. But I'll enjoy reading about all of yours.

Mine was so shit last year that I feel I could do with one, but on the other hand, it tainted the concept a bit plus I just got the Cult Beauty gift bag thing and have barely even looked at the contents yet. I'll probably dither until only the crap ones are left, then moan about it every day of Advent and get steadily more Grinch as the month goes on. :disco:

You must find and read the thread, smalex. I remember MG’s daily reports were funny from our side.

Glossybox. DO NOT TOUCH WITH A BARGEPOLE*

I thought I'd followed the thread last year but obviously didn't. I'll take a look

I didn't get one last year and don't think I will this year either. I did like the M&S one last time I got it though.

Pip, I think shutters are a much better idea. Have you seen any you like?

You should. While I feel bad for Goat it was very funny for the rest of us. :))

I'd like to get the M&S one as I didn't get one last year but I still have a huge backlog of toiletries to use up.

I'm going for the M&S one. On the whole I really liked it.
