You can’t really beat the M&S one for value. I’ve seen the contents but not committed them to memory. https://www.marksandspencer.com/c/beaut ... t-calendar
Essentially, I just want a Baies candle and I have one of those so don’t need 24 other things, 15 of which I won’t use.

I think M&S is a good mix of a nice treat without being bank-breaking. I am still resisting though.

I shouldn't have looked, there is a lot in there I like and would use. And there is a cape I would like to buy as well.

The M&S one looks good value. Well, I'm saying that assuming it's £50, is that likely to be right (I can't see the price)?

It’s normally £35 with a £35 spend but might go up this year. :Brexit:

UNLIKE GLOSSY BOX.
Their customer service was appalling too. I think they just handed it over to interns or the customers they give hand outs to for pretending it's good.

Ooh, I actually do need some knickers. Maybe not £35 worth, but perhaps some tights and a bra?

Goat’s Glossy Box one was so awful!
Mr O usually gets me with the Liberty for my birthday but with everything that’s going on I don’t know if he’s managed to swing it this year. I don’t actually mind a year off though.

Ooh please show us the cape!
The Glossybox customer service was like that fake account that leaves trolling comments on Facebook page complaints, but far, far worse as it was real
I cancelled my Birchbox when mat leave started and probably shouldn’t have a beauty advent calendar for the same reason. I do choose and prompt my brother to get one for SIL on time each year though, so I’ll still be looking (I don’t mind enabling this uselessness as I enjoy it, she knows it happens and he’d choose poorly or late otherwise).

It's this one.
I fancy something for getting to/from work where I find a coat too bulky in the car and I'm not really outside that much.

N has got/ordered (I spoke to her on her way into Boots, not her way out) the Harry Potter beauty calendar. I think less for all the colour-changing lipstick and more because she is an HP superfan! https://www.boots.com/harry-potter-adve ... lsrc=aw.ds
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

I have last year's M&S one that I did not open at the time - I will be using it this year
