Bonus, Annabella!

Squeak has the HP lipstick from last year. It’s quite fun.

I was more or less decided against one this year. Now I’ve looked at the M&S contents I’m tempted - it’s all stuff I will use bar I think three items and o do like having a stash of mini things to use over the year.

I'm not getting a beauty advent calendar this year, my skin is all to shit and I won't use enough to make it worth while (unless I find one that's 23 clay masks and one moisturiser).

I've ordered a Virgin Wines calendar, which may explain my skin problems.

I've never had one before but the M&S one, I think I would use all of it and it is definitely a year's worth of skin care.

Does anyone know when the M&S calendar goes on special offer? Or is it already? Its showing as £300 on the website.

I'm not getting one but will enjoy watching others open theirs. Emma, if you get a jam one, please share the opening with us.

I've seen some crazy ones here - herbal teas, essential oils and today, nuts ( naked and chocolate coated).

M&S will be early Nov, I reckon.

The Feel Unique one is available but doesn’t look that different to M&S.

I feel like I have enough samples of skincare and make up to last me forever so I really fancy the Jo Loves one that is all candles and perfume and hand cream (all things I'm short of and would love) but it's £300! I would consider a 12 day version of that if they had one but that's a bit obscene. But so nice. But obscene.

But on the other hand, this time next year we’ll all be eating polystyrene anyway, so you might as well.

I would die for the Jo Loves one. I’m going to count my shutter fund jar now.

Pip, no! Keep focused on the shutters. No one needs that much hand cream!

This is a good point. I'm definitely getting the M&S one.

The year I had the Bonne Maman jam calendar was a highlight of my life.
