I really wanted the Diptyque one but I couldn't square the cost with myself, however hard I tried (and I did), and then I got a set of mini Jo Malone perfumes for my birthday so couldn't justify it on the grounds of needing perfume either. So I've just bought myself ALL the Christmas-sy candles I can to offset the hole in my life.

Which Christmas candles?

I just picked up a Ferm Living advent candle and it is very pleasant and the glass it's in is such a pretty green.

A full sized Skog* of course, and a set of mini Sno, Jul (gingerbread, cloves) and Trae (piney) from Skandinivisk, Diptyque's Feu de Bois, Neom's Christmas Wish (which sort of smells like Lebkuchen) and White Company's Winter. I'm going to be in Space NK on Tuesday too and will be sniffing the Diptyque Christmas ones and the Jo Loves ones.

* bathroom soap will also be switched to Skog the minute we hit Dec 1.

Skog is the best ever. I bought the hand wash, body wash and candles to try to make the Airbnb smell less like someone else’s house.

I don’t think anybody has the same calendar as I do, so I’ll post what was in mine with one of my trademark terrible pictures.

It is a good gift but not for me as it does absolutely nothing for my skin! If anybody in the UK wants to try it, let me know.

I’ll do the same! I figure I’m fairly safe given I’m 5 hours behind you though.

The shampoo and conditioner smells divine and I know I’m going to crave bakewell pudding every time I use it.
