I think it’s actually obscene. Both the price and the design. I keep thinking about it and it’s making me angry. I’m literally the most conspicuous of all the consumers and even if I was crazy rich I would not buy it.

£392 for that! You could pick up something similar for 50p at a car boot sale.

It’s really made my head explode too. I think it’s the sheer ugliness of it coupled with the pointlessnesss multiplied by the cost. It shouldn’t be legal.

I do have a plain black Bakelite thing to put single candles on, but you’d hardly know it was there. And it was a snip at £285 ;).

It's like something a small child would pick from the Pound Shop for their Nana's birthday.

Like that overdecorated majolica stuff that places like Studio catalogue used to have!
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Plus, they only give you one candle when it’s for two. The whole thing is so crap

OMG that is hideous! I was so horrified I looked it up on their website, and their styling suggestion is to sit this equally awful single candle holder on top of the tray (yours for another modest £392, of course…) :mog:

So the whole revolting ensemble comes in at just a touch under EIGHT HUNDRED POUNDS?

Are they putting crack in the candles over at JM?

They are just vile and a classic example of how money doesn't buy taste.

It's also completely at odds with their usual aesthetic, isn't it?
