Black boots

Post by Beatrix »

I’m on the hunt for some this autumn, has anyone seen any good ones or have any from previous years they’d recommend? The last few years I’ve mostly worn ankle boots with a slight heel but think I should look at other lengths as well. I don’t tend to suit anything particularly chunky.

I have just bought a second pair of these Pom d’Api chelsea boots. They are wool-lined and so comfortable and cosy. I don’t think chunky boots suit me either but these are perfect.

Those look good, and practical, thanks.

I don’t think I’ve been shoe or boot shopping in actual shops since before children - think I should probably rectify that. Dune have a couple of pairs I could be tempted by, too. I did briefly look at Le Chameau leather boots and then got a grip of myself .

Because I’m now an old woman, my last boots came from
Hotter.

I love Le Chameau wellies! As much as one can love a welly. (I don’t own any.)

The price though!

I’ll look at hotter, I’m not fussed about brand and definitely want comfort.

I need to start a boot search too, this is timely. I want something mega flat, I'm tall enough and I'm all about comforttt.

Pom d'Api seems to be for children, have you got mini feet, emma?

Oh no! Those Toast ones are lovely, I need to pretend I’ve not seen them though.

I can work with a 38 so that’s good.

I really like yours, Dix. And I am a 38 so perhaps I can wear children's boots. :))

I don't know if the price they show is with the 20% off, or if you get a further 20% off that. Either way, they are gorgeous.
