Re: Vinted
I had no idea you could make offers like you can on ebay.

Re: Vinted
I have so far rejected offers and always sold the item soon after for the asking price. But yeah, if you want rid or feel you may have overpriced it, then why not?

Re: Vinted
I always slightly overprice my items so I can accept offers/send offers, and get what I really want while the seller thinks they get a bargain :))

I do what Baa does. I don't send offers though.

I often do the same as Baa.

I often send offers, as I know that as a buyer, I am really easily encouraged to buy something if a seller sends me an offer

Re: Vinted
I’ve accepted offers that have been sent and I might yet do that with my items. It’s only been two days though! I think I’ll accept the offer on the dress in a little bit.

I always overprice with a view to selling at a reduced cost.

Re: Vinted
Yes I accept offers or decline and counter offer. I find sometimes people will accept an offer if that price inc postage fits within a neat number, ie a tenner for examplePippedydeadeye wrote: ↑Wed May 03, 2023 3:02 pm What are our views on accepting offers for things? I have a skirt on at £4 and yesterday someone offered £2.40 & I declined with a counter offer of £3. Today someone has offered £5 on a dress I’d priced at £7. I’m more likely to accept that one I think.

Re: Vinted
I was just paying full price for stuff and not accepting offers but then realised that I think most people make/accept offers so I always offer a couple of quid off, and also accept/counter offer on my items. But factor it in by making the cost a bit higher on what I’m selling :))

Re: Vinted
I've made a few offers now. I didn't like it when someone did it to me, you see so thought other people wouldn't like it.

Re: Vinted
I've got a question about buying something. I'm being asked to put in my card details even though it says it's going to be taken from my Vinted balance. So why is it asking for my bank card?

Definitely make offers, I've only ever been declined once.

I didn’t like it much either when the thing was already really cheap (in my opinion), but I’m trying not to be offended by it.
I can’t answer your other question, sorry.

That's never happened to me Diccers. Perhaps ask on the forum? They're very helpful on there.
My perfect dress fits like a dream, thank heaven. I got the matching scarf too.

Re: Vinted
I’ve never used Vinted before but I just looked it up and it seems it allows selling skincare items and gel polish as well.
I’ve got a few bits of gel polish that I could sell as I don’t want to use gel polish at home anymore due to all the news about serious gel allergies.
I also have some unopened skincare items and lots of unused hand creams etc.
I might try selling some clothes too.

I recently sold a few jigsaw puzzles on Vinted too. They sold very quickly, to my surprise.
I almost always put in an offer unless something is very cheap already. I don't mind it myself, unless they put in a stupidly low offer.

I’ve had my first snotty message saying they can’t do the trousers up. :ella: The size label was clearly photographed, that’s the risk you take, innit?

Re: Vinted
I wouldn't, only if they're faulty in some actual faulty way that you did highlight. Clothes not fitting is just a risk on Vinted and ebay.
