This one in Ted Baker is lovely http://www.tedbaker.com/women%27s/dress ... pfm=browse" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I also liked the one in Kate Moss' Top Shop collection, until my mate kindly pointed out that the top didn't contain my boobs. :lg: http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/store ... &langId=-1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

And this one from Phase Eight is beautiful http://www.phase-eight.co.uk/fcp/produc ... ark%20blue" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

H&M dresses are for giants, I'm going to need to wear my stripey one with massive heels. I'm over 5'9"

I got this one from Peacocks today:

I love it, but my friend just kindly pointed out that it's quite see-through in the sunlight.....this is after I spent 20 mins waiting for him in the hospital car park in the blazing bright sun :mad: Should I wear an underskirt (*shudder*)? Should I care? You'd see more if I was wearing shorts tbh.

I'm 5'3 btw :)

That's lovely! I wouldn't worry about the see-throughness.

Gorgeous! :weewee:

New Look have got quite a few nice ones in; lots of floaty flowery day ones, a couple more suitable for evenings and some of the dead plain jersey t-shirt material ones that are like really long vests.

I liked the ones in New Look too, Shoe. I was looking at them last weekend but didn't have time to try on. I might go back.

Thank you all! I never considered maxi dresses before because I thought I was too short for them, but this thread has been an education :)) Stout knickers it is!

Nobody is too short for them, you just lift the hem when on stairs and kick it up in front of you the rest of the time. :))

This is true but you can be too tall for them :verm:

I still want another one. I will have to have a look in New Look

I bought this one from Warehouse but mine has more prominent turquoise than the one in this picture & I got a little turquoise Monsoon shrug to go with it.

And also this one which is a bit of a miracle dress; I've worn it twice & twice been asked if I've lost weight.

That Warehouse one is v good value for such a slinky dress!

I have got this one, and I love the colours but am unsure of whether it is flattering due to bulgage under the arms. Honest opinions please?

You have NO bulgage under your arms :drill:

When you are a wobbly size 16 with 38 DD booooobs then you may come back and moan!! :))

YES! :drill:

We have had this before, even the skinniest minnies have arm bulges, they are entirely normal. I can't think of a single person that doesn't have them.

I know everyone gets them, but some clothes accentuate them more than others! I do love the dress, I'm just not sure I)m 100% comfortable in it because of the straps.
