Sorry to reply so late, Lily. It's from La Redoute. However, I don't recommend buying from them as the bloody skirt still hasn't arrived and they can't tell me if and when it will.
Hmm! I don't want to order it without a bloody good discount, either.

Is it a weird length? I'm trying to decide if I also have dinner bloat or if I need to size up which would mean even more fabric.

I don't think you need to size up, but it looks to my untrained eye like it's between calf-length and ankle-length! You could have it taken up if you wanted.

I don't think it's the nicest thing I've seen on you Pip. Sorry.

I don't think it's a great length either. Sorry. It's ok but you usually look much better than ok.

Thanks guys. It's going back. The print is lovely but it's not worth the ££.

emma's summery skirt gave me a yen. What do we think of this?

Has it arrived yet, PG? Mine has, and it makes me look entirely triangular from the middle :)). I think I love it but it's quite tight on the waist so I'm concerned I won't wear it much.

Wrong Frenchie, Lora. :)) They have finally delivered it today apparently, but now I'm not there. :ella:

Did you get the same one? Tight on the waist does not fill me with inspiration, as my waist is the flabbiest bit of me. :( Also, they have run out of the yellow wedge sandals I ordered to go with it. Bloody La Redoute!

Oh FFS, I even quoted you . Sorry.

I did get the same one; I kept searching striped skirts after you'd posted it and then realised why. The reviews did warn it was snug so I ordered a 14 (I'm a 12-14) and I won't be eating any big meals in it.

Oh :( I was skim-reading and thought for a split second that I'd ordered myself a lovely treat and forgotten about it

I have a Boden catalogue and want all the things. Can someone please tell me what the sizing is like in comparison with M&S? And are the lengths of dresses decent, or tiny Oasis style things that barely reach mid thigh if you're over 5ft?

Decent length (go by their descriptions, I'm 5'6" and on the knee means that. If you're taller you should be able to judge by the model) and fair-generous sizing. Slightly more generous than M&S, I'd say.

Sorry, PG :(.

The reviews on Boden are usually really reliable too.

That's good to know. I'm waiting to shift a couple of pounds then I think I'll have a spree.

Keep an eye out for codes, Heebs; Boden offer quite frequent discounts.

Thanks, my lack of patience got the better of me and I've ordered some things to try. They were in the sale at least. Next time I'll wait for codes.

I finally got to try mine on last night and you were right about the snugness. I'm torn between sending it back for the next size up or just giving up on the whole thing.
