Sorry, another question:

If someone offers you a lower price and you accept it, how long do you wait for them to make payment/send a label? I've accepted one offer (an hour ago), but they've not sent a shipping label yet. In the meantime I've subsequently received a couple of other offers at the same lower price so can I accept one of them or is that bad form?

I would send a message to the first offer prompting them to buy as you have other interest waiting in the wings, well done on a potential sale!

Someone else has bought it at full price! I guess because the person who made the offer didn't close the deal, as it were, the item stays up for sale so that came through during the night.

I only put this stuff up last night so that's good although this sale is sweaty Betty leggings which I suspect go fast.

I’m just ruthless on whoever pays first gets it. I have had similar with some trainers this week, quite a few offers that I’d countered on but then someone just bought them full price anyway.

I think that's the way to go, buyers must know this is how it works.

This may have just prompted me to list the SB leggings I have been meaning to list for ages. :)) Thank you for leading the way there, sal.

I agree that if they snooze they lose, but either way as a seller there's nothing you can do other than wait for someone to pay. AFAIK you can accept multiple different offers, which will stand until someone pays.

The only exception is that occasionally I've reserved items if someone's asked for a grouped postage cost, since I needed to weigh them first. Now though on european Vinted the postage for individual items is automatically set, and I don't know what happens with multiple purchases.

From what I recall, if someone makes an offer and you accept it but they haven't paid the item is still available for sale. Good results all round! I've been ruthless with myself and just sold a Hobbs coat I haven't worn for over a year.

If any of you or your partners have any old football shirts collecting dust, get them sold. They go for a fortune.

I just sold yet another Fulham shirt (this one from 2000) for seventy sheets.

I do actually! Not sure how much someone here wants an Ireland shirt from 1994 though.

There big money in footie shirts. C loves old ones and often speaks with regret of having parted with the Man Utd ?1996 shirt with the laces.

I've sold 2 coats as well as the leggings so I'm pretty pleased with that.

Does anyone use the Bump feature? I've got 3 dresses and another coat on sale but not much traction. I've messaged a few people who have favourited two of the dresses with lower prices but no joy so I wondered if its worth bumping them.

I bumped once and it made no difference so I don’t bother now.

I haven't bumped but I did spotlight my wardrobe (£6.95 for seven days) and that got me £39 worth of sales.
