You look great, Nine.
I love a wide leg trouser, especially when they are fitting around the bottom and hips.
I ordered some m&s ones to try. Houndstooth and denim look, and they are on the way (excuse for my advent calendar). However today I picked up some very wide legged Levi Jean/trews and they fit perfectly! £7 charity shop. Perfect condition. The denim M&S ones will go back.

Lovely. This looks like the slip skirts (in two lengths) that Marks were selling a few years ago.

I bought a green silk midi skirt from M&S to wear the christmas we were in an airbnb so Dec 2019? I do love the brown though.

I got a champagne coloured one in the sale for less than a fiver, I think.
I am very allured to these and hoping the urge will go off.

Thank you everyone but I think I’m going to return the jeans today. I can’t make my mind up about them.

They do look great on you nine, but they are a bit long. Not great for this weather!

I agree with Emma. I think you look great but I don’t like those jeans and they do look too long.

You can always get them taken up. Actually, the two pairs I've got my mum took up for me.

The length is my main issue and hard to get right - you also don't want wide-legged jeans that are too short.

I love the skirt Pip! Is it corduroy or just a thick cotton?Pippedydeadeye wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 8:31 am I got a champagne coloured one in the sale for less than a fiver, I think.

And yes, wide-legged trousers have to be the exact right length! I have a pair I love but my mum had to let out the hems twice to make them longer.

It’s corduroy. I think I might order it; I’ve found a 35% off code.

That skirt is so autumn/winter. I feel warmer and cosier just looking at it.Pippedydeadeye wrote: ↑Sat Oct 30, 2021 8:31 am I got a champagne coloured one in the sale for less than a fiver, I think.

That’s a nice skirt, Pip.
I thought the jeans looked too long too and the flappyness around the ankles would annoy me I think.
