At the opposite end of the spectrum to that dress, I have decided that these are absolutely required for my winter wardrobe. I’m going in search of them today.

Rishi Sunal has been photographed wearing Sambas, so do have a little think about that before committing to purchase. :)

I’m sorry. And mostly glad it wasn’t Stan Smiths because I just got a new pair.

Pip  I imagine you are suitably far enough away from Sunak (lucky you!) to get away with it, Est.
I love Adidas sneakers and desperately want some Gazelles

I was wearing my sister’s Gazelles (pink suede) when I fell flat on my back on the steps in the Blue Note in Derby.

Re: Items to which I am allured
I still have a pair of Gazelles from 1995! Bought them on a long weekend in Amsterdam just after graduation with my then-boyfriend.
I bought some pink Nike Air Force 1s this week and they were delivered yesterday. I wore them for half an hour and my feet were getting uncomfortably hot. I looked on the sticker that says what they're made of - what I thought were leather uppers was in fact synthetic. They are going back. I really want pink trainers though! Any ideas?

I used to buy Gazelles when you could get size 5 in the kids section. Don’t think you can do that now. My favourite are my pink ones with glitter stripes!

I am jealous of all your original Gazelles. I don’t think I’d wear them enough to justify the cost (though I did look in the kids section as well, Luna!).

I have blush pink suede Gazelles and white leather with hot pink accents Superstars (both children's size 3 and tehrefore cheap as chips).

Re: Items to which I am allured
Hmm you are all making me rethink my decision on the Gazelles now
Dutchie have you looked on Shopstyle and ASOS for inspiration
https://www.asos.com/search/?q=pink+trainers+womens I like the Puma Palermo in pink and orange but maybe you want proper trainers rather than sneakers?

Those pink gazelles are so cute. MrE has multiple pairs still. I had Campus back in the day. I’ve said screw it, I’m far enough away from Sunak and there’s nothing else I like as much so I’ve ordered.

Poppers, funnily enough I’d been eyeing off Palermos too but it was a black pair of shoes that was missing from my wardrobe and I bought a bright pair of Vans recently.
