I got this linen (and viscose) shirt dress yesterday - found amid a sea of voluminous floral sacks.

The floral sack trend shows no sign of lessening does it?

I really like that. :goesofftoinvestigste:

I honestly despair at the moment. It’s either tarty cruisewear, billowing floral tents or Fat Face-y jersey smocks. I admit my personal style is more 1970s librarian but it really shouldn’t be this hard to buy clothes!

I've bought a very grown up dress for work. It has pockets :frolic:

Thats a fab dress, Smun!

I quite like a voluminous dress, although less so floral ones. I like shirt dresses too, and wish there were more of them.

Oh my GOD that is epic.

Popsy have dinosaur dresses but they're not as awesome as that.

 I only noticed one of my dresses had the print upside down when I put a photo up on here and I could see it objectively. To me peering down at myself the birds were upright and I hadn't considered that meant they're upside down for everyone else.

I know your print isn't incorrectly upside down like my bodge job dress.

Sorry! I shouldn't have said anything! It think it's meant to be like that though isn't it? On the website it's like that too.

Since I noticed my dress, whenever someone compliments my dress I cannot stop myself from blurting out "Look! They're upside down!". No one has ever noticed until I've said so.

That’s a bit like the compulsion to say how much you paid for something if it was on sale when you’re complimented. :)

(I also checked the website and I agree, one side is for you.)

No, it's fine, I'm mostly amused I didn't notice :)) That is exactly what I would do too

Oh I love your dress Smun! Pockets are a huge bonus! Also, very considerate of them to put half the dinosaurs upside down for the wearer.

I recently bought this dress off Vinted and I think I'll get a lot of wear out of it. It's a lovely thin cotton with a slip dress underneath.

I have just bought this, in a little boutique in Belper. It’s discontinued online and I’d been hanging my nose over it for forever. It’s one of those things that looks incredible once it’s on but not much doing on the hanger.
