Well, if neither of those things appeal, you can get this beautiful candle lid for a mere £220. I'm ordering two.

The other day I looked up how to make cold porcelain clay - maybe I’ll start making ugly shapes slapped with a bit of pastel acrylic paint. Next year, Rodney, we’ll be millionaires!
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

I’m honestly getting a Hunger Games/Capitol vibe from everything these days. Ordinary people are seeing their incomes slashed on several fronts, while luxury goods become ever more hideous, expensive and pointless.

The current climate definitely makes items like these seem even more distasteful.

I really try not to judge ( :uhh: ) what other people spend on things because it's all relative but it really does feel distasteful. £1200s worth of stuff to adorn an already expensive candle.

WTAF?? I cannot get over those monstrosities and the gall to charge that much for them. Did someone famous design them?

The collection's called Up The Garden Path, which seems to sum it up perfectly!

 Cheeky sods.

I would really love to know how much of that tat they've sold. If it came free with a candle I'd be offended.

In all seriousness the horse looks like what my 7 year old produces when I taken him to the local pottery painting cafe

I'd love to know how many they've sold. Imagine receiving one as a present.

I was thinking a similar thing when I looked at the UK site. £390 for 6 candles, FFS.

This absolute horror has got me hysterical :mog: reduced down to £520 from £1700ish. All sold out now though in case you’re tempted
